On one hand, I want to read The Stolen Heir because The Folk of the Air trilogy was so amazing, and I want to read more by Holly Black. I'm really torn between these two options. In my opinion, it would ruin my view of the world of The Folk of the Air as this amazing series and place. I don't want to find myself disappointed by the book, or by the characters.

In addition, I'm also worried it will 'ruin' (not actually, but just not depict them as wonderfully as they were previously) certain characters, such as Jude and Cardan.

The original trilogy was so incredible, I worry that I won't think The Stolen Heir lives up to it, and be extremely disappointed. Now, as I actually have a chance to read The Stolen Heir, I worry I'll find myself disappointed by it. After I finished The Queen of Nothing, I was so hyped to find out that The Stolen Heir was going to be released, because I wanted to read more set in the world of The Folk of the Air. I have no doubt that Holly Black will live up to this and make The Stolen Heir an enjoyable, amazingly well-written read with wonderful characters. I absolutely loved all parts of The Folk of the Air trilogy, the characters were amazing and well-written, the plot was well-developed, and well, everything was just amazing. On one hand, I really want to read this book. Should I read it? Should I not read it? I need some help here.
